In order to be able to clean your business premises efficiently, it is important to use the correct working pressure. When purchasing an industrial cleaning system, careful consider whether you need a high-pressure or low-pressure cleaning process.
Visscher Seafood had already worked with Elpress in the past and got in touch again when planning a major conversion. Elpress also considered the cleaning process during this project, which involved the construction of a new building and the conversion of the existing production facility. By thinking along the line of production solutions and with its extensive knowledge gained from practical situations, Elpress came up with a customised solution that allowed Visscher Seafood to clean its entire production area properly and efficiently.
Foaming, rinsing and disinfecting
Virtually everything in the production area – conveyor belts, installations, channels, manholes, floors and walls – is cleaned with the industrial cleaning system from Elpress. Foaming and disinfecting can be done by four employees simultaneously. Stubborn dirt is rinsed away at a working pressure of 40 bar, by a maximum of five people at the same time. A working pressure of 5 bar is used for general cleaning and for rinsing sensitive equipment.
Eleven satellites with reels can be found on the premises of Visscher Seafood. Five of these are in the production shop. They are strategically located so that the shop can be completely cleaned. The other reels hang, for example, in the loading and unloading area to allow areas such as the floor to also be thoroughly cleaned.
